Avoid getting skanked.
Call it cultural decay, progressive politics, societal meltdown... a lie is still a lie.
Here you'll find a variety of tools and resources to get to the bottom of things,
suggestions on what to look (out) for, and examples of skank-like activity.

Skanks have been around since the beginning of time - but they kept people so confused it took until 1970 or so to hang a name on it. Trust is key to all skanks, thereby affording opportunities that would be unavailable otherwise. Trust can be a dangerous thing.

Whether on a personal, business or political level
, skank methods are pretty much the same, regardless of objective. Watch for the following techniques and tells:

Psychiatrists say that people rid themselves of unpleasant feelings by projecting 'em onto others, but skanks don't stop there. An example from a distant relative began with her accusation, "I know you hate my family," which struck me as a strange thing to say since I had no contact with her family - until I realized the truth: She'd taught her family to hate (and avoid) me for fear I'd expose her lying, scheming and subsequent theft. Projecting her actions onto me worked well; far as I know, her family still has no clue, plus I get the blame.
Other useful aspects of projection:
  • Add confusion when necessary to hide activity
  • Put others on defense when feeling threatened
  • Divert attention away from a skank's own actions.

Granddaddy of deception, a diversion is key to most magic acts, plays a large part of many confidence games, and is a favorite tool of cons large and small - mainly because it's so easy. A simple distraction or change of subject is all it takes. While you're watching the magician's right hand, his left has already completed the illusion.

The variety of diversions is nearly endless, too. From showing a little skin when appropriate to making false statements and misleading claims, goal is to sidetrack you or send you on a wild goose chase. Then comes the ever popular bait-and-switch, a plant or removal of evidence, or whatever other objective was planned to take advantage of you.

Similar to projection, but with a more sinister motive, this is not Freud's "unconscious redirection of feelings," no.

This is the intentional transfer of blame to someone else by any means necessary.

Most skanks have an accomplice or two they can count on for alibis or to help promote a story implicating someone else for the crime (someone who will likely be unavailable for comment). We've seen elaborate schemes involving emails, text messages, video conferencing, fake photos, forged docs and planted evidence. Whatever it takes to pin the blame on someone else. Don't let it be you.

"Half the truth is often a whole lie." Ben Franklin
Best lies are always the ones that include a grain of truth, some little detail that can easily be verified, lending credibility to the larger lie. A good liar will ad lib as needed when details emerge or questions arise. Certain other personality disorders may also come into play, including narcissism, sociopathic behavior and worse, but the one thing that a true skank will never do is admit the truth - unless it serves to bolster yet another, even larger lie.

Lying is second nature to some people, perfectly normal and acceptable behavior - as long as they're not on the receiving end. Your fault for believing, should've known better.

What happens when things spiral out of control and a skank can't lie their way out, pin it on somebody else, or feign ignorance? The cover-up happens. This is last resort and a sure sign that somebody screwed the pooch.

As famously demonstrated in politics, the cover-up is often worse than the original offense. This is because a cover-up will likely require a combination of other techniques to hide original act(s), sometimes eclipsing the original deed while getting deeper and deeper into trouble. Object here is to delay the inevitable as long as possible in the hope that some unexpected factor will intercede and derail any further investigation.

This two-bit term comes from a Latin word meaning to darken or obscure. Obfuscation in a very general sense means to muddy the water, make something illegible or unclear, and is broad enough to include most any of the deceptive methods mentioned here.

Some examples of trying to disguise the truth of a situation includes concealment and destruction of physical evidence, making misleading excuses and bogus explanations, causing distractions and providing misdirection. Whatever it takes to conceal events, hide facts, disguise participants, obliterate clues or otherwise deceive, destroy and distract.

Conflation is the merging of two or more concepts, ideas, or sets of information. In this case, we're blending stories or alibis, typically from different events (containing a grain of truth) that might not be recounted accurately.

For example, let's say there was a time when you lost your keys and didn't find 'em in your jacket until after you'd spent hours tossing the house. See how wrong you can be? If we combine that memory with a more recent event when some asset went missing, we might convince you that you've only misplaced it.

Someone skilled at conflating events and memories can have you questioning your own sanity after awhile, especially if it's someone you trust.

Last, but certainly not least, Lies of Omission are always the easiest and most common way to hide the truth.

Avoid any exposure as long as possible; then, at the first hint of the crime or subterfuge coming to light, employ any (or all) other methods of deception available - in whatever order serves concealment best. News media are expert at omission, ignoring facts for years at a time.

There will always be unexpected opportunities to send things spinning off course, and a practiced skank will quickly identify openings and take full advantage. This may include  things considered personal and private which will help guarantee secrecy and may even lead to extortion or blackmail.

How to spot a Fed

One of these photos is not like the others. Three of 'em include Feds; the fourth doesn't show a single one.

Widely-circulated protest photos and stills from various online sources shot between 2021 and 2023

Photos: Top-left: Washington D.C. on 6 January 2021. Top-right: Boston MA on 3 July 2022. Bottom-left: Dodger Stadium at Chavez Ravine CA on 16 June 2023. Bottom-right: Near Orlando FL on 3 September 2023.

Try as they might, Feds seldom blend into a crowd. They are most conspicuous when staging bogus marches while pretending to be activists, as in two of the photos above. Wearing uniform garb is a clue, especially when their uniforms just happen to match those of the FBI. Coincidence? Wearing masks and balaclavas is another tell. Multiple males of similar age, height and weight, all with matching haircuts and shades? Dead giveaway.

Possibly the only remaining "white supremacist" groups you'll ever see in this country are Feds in fake Neo-Nazi gangs with patriotic names that nobody has ever heard of. Their activities are designed to stir up racial tensions, serve as distractions and keep people divided - all while promoting their wet dream of white domestic terrorism. A demonstration featuring swastika flags and Hitler salutes, complete with matching shirts and logos? Honestly now, who but a bunch o'Feds would ever stage such a stupid event.

Which brings us to the Fed-free pic, Dodger Stadium. Those are real protesters - real angry protesters - who managed to interfere with a woke Dodgers award ceremony honoring a group of sicko anti-Christian perverts (one of whom was recently arrested for public masturbation). In a classic case of poetic justice - or divine retribution - Chavez Ravine was flooded by torrential rains shortly after this June demonstration.  The LA Dodgers proudly joined the likes of Budweiser, Disney, Target et al, ruining everything they touch. Boycott all to oblivion.

Vanished: Middle Ground

Time for ambivalence is over. Those who are still sitting on the fence must be getting rather uncomfortable by now. Either you're awake and aware, or you're onboard with all the woke nonsense and its ever-expanding list of perversions, pronouns and poisonous politics. There is no in-between.

America was so "racist" in 2009 that we elected a black president nobody ever heard of; ever since then, race has been front and center. Race is everything to the woke crowd, just like it was to the Klan decades ago, and every bit as tiresome. Accusations of racism has become so common as to lose all meaning, other than being a one-size-fits-all insult and general-purpose excuse. Lacking real-world examples of racism in modern America, a "systemic" version was created to imply that it's everywhere, like oxygen or gravity. You just can't see it. And, BTW, don't look too close at that 44th president, you might find he was the biggest fraud in American political history.

Unless a steady diet of propaganda has turned you into a sausage on a stick, you must realize by now that the divide we face is about more than petty politics. It's more than race, or climate, or covid, or any of the other crap used to divide and destroy us. It's about nothing less than good versus evil, and no one is immune from the fallout.

"There is no evidence."
Left is White House spokesperson Poodle LaPierre on 13 September 2023, carefully explaining why no one should be wasting time investigating Joe Biden's corruption. She and the magpie media preface all statements on the matter with "there is no evidence," while pretending the 20+ shell corporations, thousands of emails (under multiple aliases), Hunter's laptop, video, audio and bank records don't exist. No, they say, money laundering thru Ukraine, bribes, extortion, pay-to-play.... it never happened.

Oh, but there was plenty of evidence to impeach Trump just for asking about it. That was a worthy waste of time and money. Only took three or four years and countless millions to prove him innocent. Why waste all that on Biden? Let it go. Don't get in the way of destroying America. Trump haters are a special kind of stupid who take pride in their ignorance, and those who continue to cling to that hate are a waste of everybody's time. If they still don't get it they never will. The rest of us need to get busy and put an end to this nonsense before it's too late. There's endless evidence, all one has to do is look.

"But... there's nothing I can do."
Yeah? Are you really so helpless, or are you just looking for a couch to die on? There's plenty you can do: You can speak up, call out bullshit when you see it, get involved, participate, volunteer, infest city hall and school board meetings and do the right thing. Start looking for opportunities to take positive action in your community. If actually doing something is more than you can manage, you can always DO NOTHING: Don't comply, don't cooperate, don't contribute, stop playing the feckless victim. Question authority, stand up for yourself and don't be bullied into accepting things you know to be wrong.

For those on the evil side of that fence, your days are numbered and your fallacies are falling apart. No one gets to choose their gender - or their parents, birthplace, height, race or shoe size. If you're not happy with the way God made you, then it sucks to be you. You can pretend to be a duck if you want, but don't expect the rest of us to quack on your behalf. If you continue to embrace evil, it will take you down. Look up 'pillar of salt' some time. And don't look back.

Uninformed versus misinformed

Broadcast news media abandoned integrity and accuracy many years ago in favor of promoting the cause du joir. Rather than investigating stories and trying to expose truth like they once did, they now prefer to distort or ignore things that might shed light on actual events or contradict some favored cause; like global warming, racism and assorted perversions. No longer concerned with trivial matters such as facts, their primary concern is supporting advertisers (Pfizer) and advancing the cause of those who control them. Using Covid as one of many modern examples, it's difficult to dispute their objectives.

What this means is, if you want the truth, you have to put some effort into it - go and find it - the big bad news media is not going to tell you. Explore other sources, like the 200 or more listed on our SkankWrangler index page. You can contribute now, too. Not to us - to those around you. All that's necessary is to be in the right place at the right time, whether intentionally or by accident.

As Andrew Breitbart famously pointed out, we all have cell phones capable of recording audio and video, allowing each of us to witness, record and share actual events as they happen. Seeing it with your own eyes and sharing events is very different than getting a second-hand version - or nothing at all. By the same token, watching a broadcast report can be quite revealing when you know the actual facts.

Having long since given up on broadcast news in favor of independent journalism and citizen reports, I find I'm in a far different place than those still getting official chapter and verse; mentioning some recent event or revelation is more than likely to go awry when speaking with a corn-fed normie. If they've heard anything at all, odds are it's wrong. Recurring falsehoods brainwash over time. Daring to offer a correction is tantamount to sacrilege.

As Mark Twain famously observed:
"It's easier to fool people, than to convince them they have been fooled." (The rest of that quote, often overlooked, is this: "No man's life, liberty, and property are safe while the legislature is in session." )

So the question is, how does one get people to look past the cacophony of corruption? How do you convince them to employ logic and apply reason? Turns out, you don't have to. Seems current events now overwhelm all reason and logic, with headlines so outrageous they can no longer be ignored.

We have the biggest scandals in American history unfolding before us - when justice returns, we can begin to heal. Meantime, it's optimism versus defeat. Right versus wrong. Good versus evil. The choice seems pretty clear.

I heard something over the phone one night that struck a vein of frustration in the hard-rock-mine of current events.
Wasn't sure whether to reach for a pick or a shovel…. What was said in four words spoke volumes about normies, about the despicable state we find ourselves in lately, and how America has fallen so far and so fast.

Four words: "They didn't tell us!"

It came out when a friend saw the real image of Trump's inauguration - a photo President Trump chose to frame and hang in the White House, and the same photo featured in a video I had sent to him.

"I'll never believe that phony picture of Trump's inauguration," he sneered over the phone.
I was speechless. Surely he's smarter than that, no? Maybe not....

This is the 20 January 2017 photo from The Atlantic that my friend was referring to:

The Atlantic, 1/20/17
          The Atlantic Magazine

Gigantic crowd, people as far as the eye can see, all the way to the Washington Monument and beyond, one of the biggest inaugural crowds ever - the debate rages on to this day. Crowd size estimates used to be provided by the National Park Service, up until the 90s, but since then estimates are based on such things as DC Metro riders and hotel reservations - which is to say, crowd size is anybody's guess.

The image my friend had seen was a very different shot, widely circulated on legacy media at the time and still in circulation among Trump-hating news sources. This is the photo they used in 2017:

Credited to the National Park Service as an aerial photo (anonymous), it was probably shot from atop the Washington Monument

Not likely we'd ever see an aerial photograph from the most restricted air space on the planet, and the actual date (or source) of this photo doesn't seem to be available - nowhere I could find, at least. It's still out there, tho.

I emailed him four links to four actual, documented photos of the Trump inauguration, from four different news sources, including NYT, WaPo and a local DC television news channel, along with a link to The Atlantic's photograph above.

That was when he uttered the Nimrod Quote of All Time: "They didn't tell us."

Legal matters require chain of custody and other considerations that might best be served by employing a law firm or P.I. to satisfy the courts (if necessary) rather than attempting surveillance on your own. On the other hand, a little sleuthing before calling up reinforcements might be enlightening and suggest looking in different directions than expected. And don't underestimate your opponent; they're probably much better at deception than you are.

With countless motion detection, night vision and audio/video gizmos available, there's no reason to wonder about things. Do the research, get answers, obtain proof, and be aware of what is happening around you. It's a matter of safety, security and self defense.
NOTE: It is YOUR responsibility to stay within the law.

The Internet has a variety of search engines available that go far beyond Google (which is not our friend). Search engines use different criteria and methods, including deep-web search sites like Yippy, and the "Wayback Machine" that contains historical versions of web sites from the past. Use Tineye for image search, Qwant for privacy, and bookmark search sites to suit your needs. Using multiple search sites will likely produce different results. Google is good for maps, but not much else.

When it comes to researching a specific target by name, phone or address, there are a variety of online databases, ranging from useless scams to legit sites whose resources include everything from legal docs to utility records. Expect to give up your own info if using one of these. Another option is to search Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Blogspot, YouTube, Reddit and any other social media sites you have access to.

Top people-oriented search engines are listed here that may turn up blogs and accounts on social media. Most dating sites and blog sites (including sites like Facebook) will require you to have an account before initiating a search, but many of the ones listed here do not. Searching specialty sites like eBay, Craigslist, YouTube and Amazon may turn up other online activity if you know (or can guess) target's user name.

The modern cell phone might be your ultimate spy tool, with its cameras, audio, video and GPS capabilities. One might think it capable of recording phone calls too, but not so - not without some tampering. Turns out that recording a phone call is okay for the NSA and any company you might call, but it's illegal for you. Check the laws in your area. An old fashioned pickup coil might work. Handy if a phone company slams you.

A search on eBay for "spy cam" will produce countless video cameras hidden in stuffed animals, USB chargers, clocks, wall outlets, pens, sunglasses, smoke detectors, you name it. The cam pictured here is a Mobius Mini, about the size of a Zippo lighter and capable of 1080p with audio. It has motion detection, wide-angle lens, rechargeable battery, automatic functions and is completely self-contained. Nothing says 'busted' quite like a video.

Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking devices are used to track everything from fleet vehicles to pets, in a variety of packages. Some of these devices broadcast their location and can be tracked in real time using online maps. There are also web sites that can be used to track cell phones, and devices which record travel, locations and time.

A good home/business security system is all but mandatory these days, and Axis is among the best. Cameras are everywhere, and for good reason: They make sneaking around impossible and assist in suspect identification. Many wireless versions are capable of sending alerts to your phone with photos or video. Some include online storage so recordings are secure regardless of the camera's fate.

Trailcams (like the Moultrie pictured here) can be quite handy for recording activity around a specific location. Equipped with IR night vision, motion detection and WiFi, they are self-contained and can transmit notification and/or video while recording onto an SD card. Some states are banning these on public land, but they're still fair game on private property.

Night vision scopes have evolved into sophisticated digital imaging and recording devices. Offered by well known companies like Bushnell and Flir at reasonable prices, they are available as binoculars or monocular (shown here). They produce and record remarkably sharp images at 100 to 200-yards in total darkness and record onto SD cards.

Counter measures are also available, including radio detect devices capable of pinpointing wireless transmitters like the gizmo pictured here. For the more simple recording devices, a pickup coil can be used with most any audio amp (as a mic input to a tape recorder for example). Virtually all electronic devices produce some sort of detectable noise at short range.

There are probably more songs about cheatin' lyin' lovers than any other subject. In fact, there are so many 'done me wrong' songs it's hard to whittle down a list to manageable size (even after excluding country music). Celebrated, scorned, tricked or dumped, there's bound to be something here to help get into - or out of - the skankin' mood.

Why do things look so obvious after-the-fact when they were anything  but obvious while in play? What changes might have made a difference - or is it always a lost cause?

Examining the means and methods that skanks use to hoodwink and manipulate people doesn't explain it - until you include their efforts to cultivate trust. And when you discard trying to figure out the 'why' of it, then things begin to crystallize.

Means and mechanisms of deception start to take on predictable patterns suggesting a progression of steps. Opportunities to short-circuit a skank should soon become apparent. One necessary constant is awareness, and this often necessitates clarification. Take nothing for granted.

It will also become obvious that skank behavior is common in many other interactions beyond personal relationships; online activities and social media are obvious examples, but many common business practices contain a degree of skank science, too. (Read a EULA sometime.)

A
dvertising, political propaganda, marketing, sales and the press are all rife with this crap. All one has to do is connect the dots, and you'll begin to recognize the process. It requires critical thinking, logic, the ability to reason, and a willingness to seek the truth. It's time.
